Camps Offered In Summer 2025
TCGIS Summer Camp Leaders are Staff who teach their courses in German or in English; camps led in English are noted. Camp Counselors speak German, so in English-led camps the languages will be both German and English.
Registration age is based on this school year (i.e., if your child is currently in second grade, please register in the K-2 camps). Registration is also open for 2024-25 Kindergarteners (Please sign them up as Grade Pre-K).

During this program, kids will create their own art by using natural materials they find around camp. Campers will have the time for community-building through silly games, team-building activities, and casual conversation in German.
Sports in German (Grades preK-2)(3-4)(5-7) - Herr und Frau Fretwell
We will play games, soccer, hockey, basketball and more sports. You will spend half the day with Frau Fretwell and the other half with Herr Fretwell. You will be grouped by age/ability and we will be inside and outside. We want you to have fun and be active so come dressed to move.

Join us for a beginner-friendly dance camp! We will work on technique and strengthening muscles and flexibility. We also will work on a routine that may be performed for parents at the end of the week! Dance is a beautiful art and a method to express oneself and to get energy out. We also will play games and have time outside!

In this camp we will learn fun ways to move our bodies and how we can come together through music! Kids will be able to improve their flexibility, confidence, and learn some new dance moves.

Learning doesn’t have to end when school’s out! Dr. Sweeneys NAWI spaß-Labor camp is the perfect way to keep kids learning this Summer. Our Mad Science lab offers the opportunity to become junior scientists for the summer and embark on a series of science adventures like no other!

Inspiration will be taken from the show to find a mix of indoor, outdoor, physical, creative, and teamwork activities to give kids a taste of life down under. Specific activities include playing keepy uppy, making Bingo's fairy bread, simulating the 'Camping' episode, a 'Sleepytime' space/pajama day, and so much more! There will be a mix of friendly competition, full teamwork, and independent activity, so kids of every personality are welcome! This camp will be conducted primarily in German, but English will be used when the situation demands (e.g. while watching show clips, explaining complex safety information, etc).

Clark, a former MSUM Player and AAU Coach and Hr. Hicks, a former professional Bundesliga Basketball + NBA player.
