PTO Events and Fundraisers

​The fundraisers below support the PTO’s budget. We don’t expect families to participate in every fundraiser, but we hope this information will help you determine which events best fit your interests, so that you can make plans to support them if you so choose.

Our current fundraisers:

Gertens Fundraising ID 550
  • Time to start planning those Spring and Summer gardens. The Gertens Plant sale is open!
    • Closes March 27th

Driven Coffee Fundraising
  • Driven Coffee is a local company that offers coffee, teas, snacks, and more. Your order comes straight to your door!​
    • Closes March 14th

​2023 Maskenball & Auction

2024 Maskenball is Saturday March 23rd at the University Club in Saint Paul. The Silent Auction and Kid's Art Auctions will be online so you do not have to attend Maskenball to take part in the Auctions but we would love it if you did.

We have so many amazing items for our online auction from some fabulously generous donors: 
  • Scavenger Hunts by Let’s Roam for some amazing local fun
  • Tickets for Timberwolves and Minnesota United games
  • Gift cards for your favorite local delicious eats - Breadsmith, Punch Pizza, Red Cow and more.
  • Beer, wine, and custard!

And so many more amazing items! Make sure not to miss out! 
Auction will be held March 19th through March 23rd. Kid's Art Auction will be March 23rd.

The funds we raise from this and last year's Maskenball will update and reinvigorate our playground.

Halloween

The PTO will hold its 4th annual Halloween Event on Saturday October 28th 2023.
Born out of the desire for a safe community event amid a pandemic where distance learning and social distancing was our norm, this fun tradition has continued! An amazing group of parent volunteers and TCGIS Staff volunteer to pass out candy to the kids.  Anyone can sign up to host and decorate a treat table.
​We're already looking forward to next year's event!

Simpls Soups

Every year we partner with local company Simpls Soups for one of our tastiest Fundraisers. The 2022 sale was held from February 15th to March 14th.

Box Tops

The PTO collects Box Tops on behalf of the school. The Box Tops for Education program is now digital! Use the Box Tops app to scan your store receipts for participating products. We will automatically earn cash with every Box Tops product you buy. Learn how you can help here.

Grade Level and Regional Events ​

The PTO strives to support the development of community relationships within each grade level, within the same geographic region, as well as across the entire school.
 
Regional picnic potluck -The Regional picnic potlucks are currently on hold. If you would like to help organize a picnic, please contact [email protected].
  
Kindergarten Summer Play Date: Start meeting new families and let the kids meet their new classmates before the start of the school year.   ​

Kaffeeklatsch

Join us at school to mingle with other parents and enjoy a treat and a cup of coffee from the PTO.  We are happy to be the hosts of the school's first Kaffeeklatsch each year.

Plant Sale

Plant sales are held in the Fall and Spring, with delivery just in time for the holidays (Fall sale) and Mother’s Day (Spring sale).  Click here for current plant sale offerings. 
  • Fall/Winter opens September 26th, pick up after school on November 27
  • Spring opens February 15th pick up after school on May 10th

Staff and Intern Support Activities ​

The PTO puts on a number of staff appreciation events and activities throughout the year to show our support for teachers and other staff. We provide a lunch cart in the lounge, dinners on the evening of parent-teacher conferences, lunches on half days, and a whole week of gifts, food, and activities for Staff Appreciation Week in May.  Last year the PTO was able to furnish the staff lounge with 2 new couches and furniture.
