IRT Update for August 28, 2022

1.  Masks are not required but always welcome according to personal preference.
2.  Masks are recommended on buses (per MDH and CDC).
3.  Individuals with any symptoms of illness should stay home.
4.  Individuals with Covid symptoms should test for Covid. (Onsite Covid testing through Zepto not
provided this year as the federal grant that paid for our testing coordinator is no longer available.)

5. Individuals who test positive for Covid must isolate for 5 days.
  • If you have symptoms: The day of symptom onset, regardless of when you tested positive, is Day 0.
  • If you have no symptoms: Day 0 is the day you were tested (not the day you received your positive test result).
  • Isolation must be followed by 5 days of masking on return to school.
 6. We will no longer be posting the Dashboard with Covid Cases. Instead Classes will be notified
when there is a positive case in the classroom.
 7.  If you are exposed to someone who has tested positive for Covid:
  • regardless of your vaccination status, per CDC guidelines, quarantining is no longer required.
  • It is advised that you monitor for symptoms and mask.
 8. If Covid levels in Ramsey County reach 'high,' we will reassess whether masks should be required.
