I enjoy meeting up with friends, exploring new places and taking photos in my freetime. I love to learn new languages and play piano. Furthermore, I like to be active (hiking, skiing, playing volleyball...). I’m beyond excited to get to meet and start this amazing journey with all of you! |
Hallo! My name is Jannik Hehemann and I'm from Osnabrück, which is a smaller city in the north of Germany. Some of you might know me as this is my second time at TCGIS. In 2018/19, I participated in the program as sport intern in elementary school. Since I really loved being part of the TCGIS community, I decided to reapply, though this time for the entire school year :-)! I will soon graduate from university and will get a master's degree in English/PE and education. In my spare time, I still love playing all kinds of racquet sports (especially table tennis and squash).Though, one of my new favorite sports is without a racquet and is called spike ball; perhaps you know it? I'm looking forward to coming back to TCGIS! Jannik |

Dear everyone, My name is Jan Peter Klittich, I am 26 years old and live near Frankfurt, Germany. In addition to my studies I love to play Tennis and get enthusiastic about everything that is related to (US) sports. I would like to emphasize how much I appreciate the opportunity to actively contribute to the immersion concept at TCGIS. Already as a high school student I had the chance to experience the American school system in Bloomington, IL for one semester where I developed a deep appreciation for intercultural settings and second language acquisition. This curiosity has lead me to embark on the process of planning a PhD thesis about bilingual learning environments together with my doctoral supervisor in Germany. |
