Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Results 2011 - 2018

TCGIS performs well above the state average in all three standardized testing areas: Reading, Math and Science.  TCGIS's greatest improvements were made in math and science.  Find more information on MCA scores at the Minnesota Department of Education.

German Standardized Assessments

TCGIS gives German standardized assessments in grades 2, 3, 5 and 8. In grade 2 students are tested on their listening and oral skills using the Student Oral Proficiency Assessment or SOPA. In grades 3, 5 and 8, TCGIS uses the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in the form of Das Deutsches Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz. These exams are used for non-native German speakers to measure their proficiency for learning in a native speaking environment.
